大麻是毒品，當中的大麻二酚，即是CBD都有機會損害健康。根據專家意見，由大麻抽取CBD，難免會夾雜微量四氫大麻酚， 即THC。THC會令人產生幻覺、上癮、引起抑鬱等，甚至引發思覺失調，是被嚴格管制的毒品。CBD更可以自然分解或轉化成 THC。而且，CBD產品聲稱所帶來的健康好處，例如舒緩痛楚、幫助睡眠，並無權威科學實證。
 
根據法例，由2023年2月1日起，CBD會被列為毒品。未經許可在香港擁有或買賣CBD產品和大麻，同屬違法！ 不論身在何處，都應遠離毒品，亦要注意印有大麻草標誌的產品。外遊時，見到任何帶有「CBD」、「THC」字眼或含有大麻的產品，都千萬不要帶來香港。

「CBD，唔啱我！」 一齊企硬，唔take嘢！

Cannabis is a drug. Cannabidiol, or CBD is from cannabis and may harm your health too. Experts advised that it is difficult to isolate pure CBD from cannabis. Most likely, CBD products contain trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol, which is known as THC. THC, which can lead to hallucination, addiction, depression, or even psychosis, is a strictly controlled dangerous drug. CBD can also naturally decompose or be converted into THC. In addition, most of the CBD products claim to provide health benefits, such as soothing pain and improving sleeping quality, which are not authoritatively proven by science.
 
From February 1, 2023, CBD will be a dangerous drug under the law. It will be illegal to possess or trade CBD products and cannabis in Hong Kong without permission. Stay away from drugs wherever you are. When you go travel, don’t ever bring any products marked with the words “CBD”, “THC” or that contain cannabis to Hong Kong.
 
To raise public awareness on the legislative control of CBD, and to remind the trade and members of the public to arrange early disposal of any CBD products in their possession in order to avoid contravention of the law after February 1, 2023, the Narcotics Division has produced a new publicity video “CBD, Not for Me!”.
